The Standard

Last December, we were thrilled to present the premiere of Marco Brambilla’s latest short film, Evolution, at The Standard, Miami. The film, billed as the world’s first 3-D artist video, will now premiere to the rest of the world at Brambilla’s first solo show at the Santa Monica Museum of Art, opening this Saturday, May 21. 

We’ve been long-time fans and supporters of Brambilla’s collage-like video work (and we’re not the only ones), including it in our StandART programming and commissioning a piece for the elevators at The Standard, NY. His show at SMMoA will feature Evolution alongside seven additional major video installations, comprised of his work from 1999 to the present.
