The Standard

Spencer Product is not only a DJ and nightlife impresario (read our Q+A with him here), but he’s also one of The Standard New York’s DJ’s, creating joy and havoc at numerous Standard events. This week, he’s dropping his new single, “Nightology” with a bushel of remixes and a new music video, directed by visual artist, Robert Knoke. Filled with signature Knoke tropes the video has stark graphic imagery with high contrast. In one conceptual still, you’ll find the night is embedding into Spencer’s skin.

The album is a series of original material while assembling a crew of remixers to bring an added element to his EP. Included are London bad boys Fear of Tigers and JBag , and US born and bred killers POSR and Death to the Throne.

For our New York readers, Director Knoke will be presenting an exhibition at the NP Gallery on March 10 – May 1, 2011 at 131 Chrystie Street.
