The Standard

We just can’t keep up with ourselves over here at The Standard, New York!  Ain’t nobody gonna breaka our stride.  Ain’t nobody gonna hold us down.  Oh no!  We got to keep on movin’!  (For those of you who didn’t get that, it was a Matthew Wilder reference.  Click for yourselves.)

This Saturday, February 5th, we are VERY excited to bring you the first annual What The Puck?! Hockey Tournament.  Eight teams of three are going to face off in a fierce battle to win the championship title.  The HighLine Heroes are going to try to take down The Pucking Idiots while the Blades of Steel stare down The Tugnutts in the sidelines.  A competition like this will not be seen for a very long time to come.

The best part is that all you have to do is come down, take in the hockey, watch the half-time show performances and enjoy the après-skate menu.  It’s going to be a winter wonder of a day, and you’re all invited.

The day starts at 1pm with a performance by the Ice Theater of New York followed immediately by the hockey showdown which, by the looks of my CHANEL J12 sport watch, says will go until 6pm.  

I expect to see you there, and I promise you a few surprises.  Maybe you’ll finally see MOI on the ice!
