SCARF IT DOWN!

Jun 29 2011

Our favorite part of winter is wearing our extravagantly large cashmere knit John Varvatos scarf.  It wraps our neck and head with so much luscious scarfness that sometimes all you can see is our eyes.  It’s pure fashion genius, and we never leave home without it when temperatures drop below 42 degrees Fahrenheit.  We’ve shopped endlessly looking for the Spring/Summer equivalent to such chicness, and we’ve just found it in our own backyards.  Well, not really our backyard.  It’s more like The Shop at The Standard, but we digress…

In a follow up to the artist t-shirt collaboration we did last year, The Standard hotels have commissioned famed artists José Parlá (Miami), Rostarr (NY) and Thomas Campbell (LA) to design art which is printed on silk-cashmere scarves.  Each design is available in a limited run of 100.  They measure 24.5” x 70”, have hand-rolled and hemmed edges and are lightweight enough for the warmer season.  Personally, we like to wear them as a sarong, but don’t be jealous of our perfect legs.

The scarves are $225 each and are available at Shop The Standard.
