
It is that time of the year again that The Standard, New York is revving up for all the foodies to gather around our hotel and generally the New York area for the New York Wine & Food Festival. One of the special treats of the week is an event called The Feast Talks with gems in the industry coming to share their kernels of knowledge.
The festival begins October 1st and will include great cooking legends as tipped off by Stan d’Arde a few weeks ago.
On that Saturday, at 5:00 PM, the singular Ferran Adria will sit with Executive Editor of The Feast, Ben Leventhal for a debrief on the State of the Adria empire. Just two months after the closing of the most famous restaurant in the world, we’ll talk to the chef about what it’s like to be a culinary god and what the future holds for him — and for food.
If you have never heard of El Bulli, we suggest you read our last post about the breathtaking documentary of the exquisite kitchen of international fame. Better yet, we intend to have a book signing immediately following the talks with the tomes provided by Posman Books. If you’re a true food connoisseur, this event is not to be missed.
