It’s time for another roundup of things to do in each of The Standard Hotel cities. Our weekly “To Do” list includes at least one thing we believe will you happy and entertained when visiting Los Angeles, New York, or Miami this week.

LOS ANGELES

If you’re in Los Angeles this week, join “An Evening with Jane Birkin” this Saturday Dec 3rd from 8:00–10:00 pm. The muse of legendary French musician and artist Serge Gainsbourg, English actress and musician Jane Birkin makes her first Los Angeles appearance in seven years. With an expansive body of work that has made an undeniable mark on 20th century culture, Jane Birkin comes to the Luckman Fine Arts Complex for a one-night tell-all. Her tumultuous relationship with longtime artistic and romantic partner, the unforgettable Serge Gainsbourg, produced a plethora of beautiful albeit controversial films and music that have stood the test of time. Influencing many of today’s artists with her breathy style, Birkin shares her journey on this night.

NEW YORK:

For New Yorkers looking to get their shopping fever on for a good cause, Pamela Love will be hosting her Trunk Show at the Reformation store this Saturday, December 3rd from 3:00 -6:00 pm. MIAMI:

If you’re enjoying the week in Miami, visit Art Basel and head to the Art+Auction booth Q20 from December 1st through 4th. The photographs of the Habana Libre project will be showing for the first time. It’s a fascinating exploration of Cuba’s new creative class. The convention center is located at 1901 Convention Center Drive Miami Beach. Also, photographer Michael Dweck will be hosting a book signing at BASE on November 29th from 7:30 to 10:30 pm located at 939 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach.
