Parking in LA can be ridiculous and everyone knows that a good parking space is a precious gem. With that in mind, The Standard, Hollywood decided to give a bunch of artists their very own parking spaces for the day! The end result, Art in the Parking Space, will be on display on Tuesday, January 24th from 7-9pm in the Upper Parking Deck of The Standard, Hollywood. The event, co-sponsored with LA><ART, will bring pieces by multiple artists to the garage and is part of the Pacific Standard Time Performance and Public Art Festival.

About the Show: Art in the Parking Space, a project by Warren Neidich and Elena Bajo, invites artists to create temporary and ephemeral artworks in parking spaces across Los Angeles creating an incredible social sculpture that invokes the anarchy and provocative essences of Los Angeles street culture. Each work reflects different environments and sets of cultural parameters that define the Los Angeles basin.
