There are times when people try so hard to think outside of the box that they forget that I, being Stan D’aringly simple, remain inside of it and that’s the best place to find me. Well, this afternoon, French Vogue’s Editor-in-Chief, Emmanuelle Alt, did just that. She kept it simple. She kept it fresh. And she kept it inside the box for me to relish her latest creation of pure GENIUS.

To celebrate the relaunch of Vogue France’s online home, she, alongside supermodels Karmen Pedaru, Kendra Spears, Jasmine Tookes and Anja Rubik, recreated WHAM’s Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go video!

Emmanuelle plays George Michael and she recruited French TV personality Mademoiselle Agnès to play the ever elusive Andrew Ridgely. Sheer brilliance! Just like her flowing locks of auburn hair. Sorry, friends. I’m giddy with excitement over this, and I’m not sure I’m making any sense.

(If I were her, I would have recreated Freedom 90, but that’s just me…)
