Fashion week is in full swing. Between shooting closets, meetings with clients and seeing the shows, it can be hard getting ready in the a.m. And now that we live in a world of street style photographers snapping fashion go-ers every move, it’s important that everyone (including us!) are always on our game. Besides, clothes work as a good distraction for the noticeable bags under our eyes. Here are our go-to fashion week staples and essentials that make getting ready for the day a little less stressful.
- Don’t be fooled by it’s mile long length. Erin’s L’Agence sequin number is a skirt… not a dress. And it does double duty from day to night with a switch-up up top.
- Steph is a mean green fighting Celine machine. Note: This is only one… of many. And the Borgo bling is good protective armor.
- Why have 1 pair of Celine aviators when you can have 2? Besides, Erin loves to match.
- Black boot showdown. (Or should we say, “shoedown”?) Who will win? In the right corner, Steph’s Balenciaga’s and in the left corner, Erin’s TODS.
- Knock on wood… But Erin would be lost without her studded Louboutin loafers and Hermes Collier de Chien.
- Erin channels her inner Sporty Spice with her Isabel Marant sneakers. They’re the ultimate alternative to wearing heels - they look badass and they’re super comfortable. Win win situation. (Necklace, Shourouk)
- The Standard rolls out the red carpet for Erin’s PS1. And rightfully so. It’s the perfect size to carry around a MacBook Air, wallet, makeup and even some snacks - an on-the-go essential.
- Steph’s essentials make a reservation for 2 at The Standard’s resto. Her Warby Parker’s and iPhone gossip about her green embossed Smythson, which carries her cash and passport.
- Steph’s Peter Pilotto just hanging out. Literally.
- Jake’s Opening Ceremony shoes look just as good on his feet as they do in his window.
