The $MoneyClick$ and The One Night Standards
Last night, the internet almost suffered a technical meltdown due to the frenzy of the world clamoring to keep up with real time news from TONSIL HOCKEY, our end of fashion week throw down against (soured) Milk Studios.
In true Milk fashion, they arrived in grand fanfare, rolling down Washington Street about sixty peeps deep, led by Theophilus London and all dolled up in what looked like a Wu Tang Clan knock off parade. They got the clan right, but they were definitely missing the Wu Tang part.

Word on the street prior to the game, was that Milk had planned to get Sean Avery to play on their team which definitely would have a been a breach of agreement. So, through series of various events and a random phone call from a certain newspaper, word of his playing got to the Rangers headquarters who quickly put an end to Avery’s involvement. One point Team Standard! Milk did find a loophole though by recruiting EX-Ranger, Aaron Voros to play with them. They needed the help more than we did, I guess.
Battle On The Ice
The teams hit the ice immediately, and within seconds Milk was put to shame with the One Night Standards leading 8 points to 2 in the first half! After the second game, ummm, where the Standard once again SLAUGHTERED Milk Studios, the night’s co-host, Theophilus London, grabbed the mic and threw down an impromptu half time show, freestyling his team all the way into second half shame.

In the end, The One Night Standards won the tournament taking the best three of four games. Was it even a question? I don’t think so.
The One Night Standards
If you missed it last night, you should be a little disappointed but do take into consideration that next season, we’re bringing Tonsil Hockey back in a bigger and better way. I’m talking MAJOR half time show, fireworks, flyovers, players parachuting onto the rink and things Super Bowl producers only wished they had thought of first.
For more of the madness, check out the photos from last night.
