Mixing Art and Music with the Lovely Nite Jewel

Lo-fi-alterna-dance songstress and Noah Baumbach-approved musician, Nite Jewel stopped by The Standard, Downtown LA last weekend for an intimate performance presented by Standard Sounds, Redbull & Filter Magazine. In addition to Ms. Jewel’s musical stylings the handsome crowd enjoyed a pop-up art install courtesy of The Tappan Collective. It is all part of The Standard’s Art Rock series threading together the ever-burgeoning Downtown art scene with LA’s ever-burgeoning music scene. How did they mix?
